Shopping in Barcelona

Barcelona is a paradise for people who loves shopping. In the whole city are thousands of shops, and the largest amount of them is located on a most famous town promenade - La Rambla. This, almost 5-kilometres-long avenue, which leads from Placa de Cataluña, through Passeig de Grácia, to the Avenue Diagonal, offers people quite a lot of attractions. Along the alley is gathered a huge selection of various shops, including this most known, such as Calvin Klein, Versace, Armani, Cartier, and others.

More less in the middle part of La Rambla is placed the largest city market in Barcelona - La Boqueria. And you can find here just everything. The most attractive is diversity and huge selection of fresh meats, fishes and seafood. Among the latter ones the crabs and lobsters are often sold still living.

In Barcelona are located also a few large shopping centres. The two most known are El Corte Inglés and Fnac. They are situated in the same center of the town. As in any other shop of this kind, here also under one roof are accumulated everything what only can interest the buyer.
