This is a fantastic show of water, music and light. The Magic Fountain was one of the last works for the Universal Expositon in 1929. It was designed by an engineer Carles Buigas, who invited a new type of fountain in which the spouting water still changes its form and shape. It makes an incredibly artistic vision. Apart from this monumental fountain at the same end of the Avinguda Maria Cristina, the project includes also the cascades and fountains placed along the avenue.
