Barri Gótic
The Barri Gótic (Gothic Quarter) is one of the oldest districts in Barcelona placed in the central part of Old Town. Here, in the labyrinth of streets, you find plenty of monumental buildings that present various periods of town history and different architectural styles. Some of them come from the Medieval times or even from the era of Roman. Moreover, many small streets opens out into atmospheric squares.
Most of this quarter is closed to traffic, only service vehicles and taxis can drive there, so the walk across this historical place is very pleasant.
